1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to customers, restaurant or hospitality partners, merchant users, staff users, and visitors who use TRIVANAA services. Some services are provided together with participating restaurants, payment providers, hosting providers, communications providers, map or location services, and other operational partners.
2. Information we may collect
- Account and contact data: name, phone number, email address, login credentials or one-time-passcode records, profile details, and support communications.
- Location data: location entered by you and, with device permission, approximate or precise location used to show nearby restaurants, calculate distance, or support delivery and service availability.
- Orders, bookings, and transactions: restaurant, items, cart, booking date and time, table or service preferences, amounts, offers, payment method and status, invoices, refunds, and order history. Payment providers may process payment credentials; TRIVANAA does not need to store full card or UPI credentials.
- Merchant and business data: restaurant details, menus, inventory, staff roles, billing, GST or invoice information, sales and operational reports when merchant services are used.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser or device type, app version, identifiers, logs, pages and features used, diagnostics, crash and performance data, and notification tokens.
- Content you provide: search entries, feedback, reviews, requests, uploaded business content, and communications.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide requested services.
- Show restaurants, menus, availability, distance and estimated service information.
- Process orders, reservations, invoices, payments, refunds, notifications, and customer support.
- Operate merchant tools for billing, inventory, staff, reports, tables, and order management.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, errors, and violations of our terms.
- Improve service quality, reliability, and user experience and meet legal obligations.
- Send service messages and, where permitted, offers or updates. You can opt out of promotional messages.
4. Permissions
TRIVANAA may request device permissions such as location or notifications only when needed for a feature. You can change permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.
5. When information may be shared
We may share only what is reasonably necessary with the restaurant or merchant involved in your request; payment, cloud hosting, communications, analytics, mapping, security, delivery, and support providers; professional advisers; or public authorities when required by law. Providers are expected to use data only for the contracted purpose. We may also transfer information as part of a merger, financing, reorganisation, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, keep legally required accounting or transaction records, and enforce agreements. Retention periods differ by record type and applicable law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards; however, no online system is completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, a copy, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or deletion of eligible personal information. 8. Children
TRIVANAA services are not directed to children who are not legally able to consent to the processing of personal information in their location. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information without proper consent should contact us.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
